Artist statement: All aspects of my life, work or play, reflect the fact that I am first and always a natural historian. My family, wild places and the creatures that live in wild places are the true sources of pleasure in my life. My photographic images reflect a view of the world through the eyes of an untamed natural historian. (Photo courtesy of C.H. Trost.)
